"DRAWING ON THE
WALL"
The two wall drawings in this show were made
directly and spontaneously on the wall without preliminary sketches. "Pink
Wall Drawing" (#12) took 26 hours to complete, "Portraits Wall
Drawing" (#10) 37 hours, my17th and 18th wall drawings since 1993. "Mylar
Drawing" (#11) led to the silhouette motif evident in the "Portrait" series (#5-7) and "Small Portrait" series (#1-4) series
and ultimately to "Portraits Wall Drawing" (#10). "Sketchbook Drawings" (#8) is a collection of recent drawings.
"Glyph" (#9) represents a new direction based on a
decal series from 1999.
